For Google maps and all the other information you need for the asteroid occultations that are on
Steve Prestons site, can be found on the sites of Derek Breit , Sander Pool and OccultWatcher.
It is now easier than ever to find occultations near you. A searchable database is on Sander Pools
site. Derek Breit has the station sort, charts and pre-point stars.
I recommend going to these links for more information and maps.
If you want more occultations to try, go to OccultWatcher. There are other events listed like mutual satellite events, smaller asteroids, dimmer stars, low magnitude drop etc.

The maps below are made from Steve Prestons FutureAll540.dat file. He generally updates the path anytime from 1 day to several weeks, usually a week or two before the event. Use these as a rough guide for pre-planning and keep an eye out on the above links for updates.
